Cork Hurlers Thread

Post  Duff Man on Fri Sep 09, 2011 6:38 pm

JBMs the new manager, Franks on the way out? DOG director of hurling?

A new dawn for Cork hurling?

Discuss...

Well may as well get the ball rolling with the first reply.

Frank Murphy out! Twisted Evil

By the way I can't see Donal O Grady being made director of hurling.

Now that really would be a new dawn.

Sadly even if we had Jimmy Barry and Jesus himself on the sideline i don't see us winning an all ireland within Jimmy's 3 year term but he should make us more organised and competitive and leave some solid foundations for the next manager to build on.Despite that lickarse Seanie McGrath being a selector the fact that Ger Cunningham is there is a sign that Mr Franks influence is waning. sunny farao king queen jocolor flower afro

If there was a clean out of the CCB and real hurling men were put in charge I reckon we would be in Croke Park in September within 3 years. The underage squads have been competitive for quite some time. If we had decent u-21 and minor trainers we wouldn't be far off.

Yes but as we have seen the club's have neither the desire or the bottle to fight for reform. The talent is there but it goes to shit at minor level because some county board lickarse want's someone from his own club or the son of a fella he know's on the team.

O'Grady hadn't the balls to to stick it out for more time in Limerick. He's exposed himself badly as a journeyman.
Limerick will be much better off without him.

What the fuck are you on about. He took over both Cork and Limerick when they were in dire straights and left them in a much better state. If he stayed with us Mr Cody would have been consigned to hurlings dust bin. Exclamation What a Face clown affraid

You're deluded young lad. He exposed himself as a moneygrabber. The whole nation knows now what he's all about.

Fact of the matter is Cody shit his pants up against O Grady.

Flukey win in 2003 and comprehensively thrashed in 2004.
