TAOISEACH ENDA KENNY has sent a good luck message to Declan Kidney and the Irish rugby team, wishing them well ahead of their Rugby World Cup opening match against the United States tomorrow morning:

Dear Declan,

I want to wish you and all the squad every success in the coming weeks.

To represent your country on the international stage is an honour and the lads have always done so with huge pride, great determination, wonderful dignity and that fantastic will to give their all. They respect the Green Jersey and all that it represents.

I have no doubt but that they will do us proud in New Zealand.

Please pass on my very best wishes to all your squad, your management team and all who are with you. Do your best.

Enda
lol!

I'm sticking with the French anyway.

If they can get the gallic flair going they'llbe very hard to beat.

It's too late now. It's 07 all over again, the only difference being that this time no one has the money to drown their sorrows.

Flannery out for the rest of the tournament. Bollocks to that anyway.

Between that and the fact Earls and D'arcy are playing against the Aussis its getting fierce depressing.

NZ WIN 82-7.

11 tries by 11 different players.

Still though, It shows how important the front line players are to NZ. Poor enough again, But I suppose they only have to peak for next week.

rendeer And this one, What does this imply? I'm horny or something?

G'way outta that youghally. You know he was! The problem is that Deccie hasn't done much better and way the breakdown has been interpreted in the last couple of years is an issue he hasn't been able to deal with.

EDIT:I totally accept that Deccie got us a GS, so kudos for that, but things changed after and he hasn't adapted.

For some completely illogical reason obviously not based on form I think Ireland will be within 10 points of them at the end. Ireland are very unfancied and this always seems to bring the best out of them.

Yeah, I feel the same.
Ireland favourites= Ireland shit
Ireland underdogs= Ireland surprisingly good.
