That's a bit severe to be honest MF. I'm sure most of the people who post on those threads have genuine sympathy for the families of those who have lost their lives. However I do feel that RIP threads usually end up as a disaster due to people wumming on them and probably it would be better if they were never started in the first place.

They're a waste of effort.

Most if not all of the time .. no-one knows anyone involved. I'm not saying no-one should feel sympathy but at the same time, it comes to us all.
